1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Flutter.LK's learning platform and Flutter development project services ("Services"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Services Overview

Flutter.LK provides two main services:

  • Learning Platform: Online courses, tutorials, and educational materials related to Flutter development
  • Flutter Development Projects: Custom Flutter application development services for clients

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Learning Platform Terms

4.1 Course Access

  • Course access is granted upon successful payment
  • Courses are for personal, non-commercial use only
  • Course content may not be redistributed or shared
  • We reserve the right to update or modify course content

4.2 Student Verification

  • Student discounts require valid verification documents
  • Fraudulent verification may result in account termination
  • Verification documents are handled according to our Privacy Policy

4.3 Intellectual Property

  • All course materials are copyrighted and owned by Flutter.LK or CeylonEdge (Pvt) Ltd
  • Students may not record, reproduce, or distribute course content
  • Code examples may be used in personal or commercial projects

5. Flutter Development Project Terms

5.1 Project Engagement

  • Project work begins after receipt of the first payment
  • Generally, 60% advance payment is required before project commencement
  • Project scope, timeline, and deliverables will be defined in a separate project agreement
  • Additional features beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment schedules will be outlined in the project agreement
  • Late payments may result in project suspension
  • All payments are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise agreed

5.3 Intellectual Property Rights

  • Upon full payment, intellectual property rights transfer to the client as specified in the project agreement
  • We retain the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio (with client approval)
  • We may reuse general code libraries and frameworks

5.4 Project Cancellation

  • Either party may cancel with written notice
  • Completed work up to the cancellation date must be paid for
  • Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

6. Payment and Pricing

  • All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise
  • Prices are subject to change with notice
  • Payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and digital wallets
  • We use secure third-party payment processors

7. Refund Policy

Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for detailed information about refunds for both learning platform courses and development projects.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malware or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Share course content with non-enrolled users

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend services for maintenance or updates.

9.2 Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to ensure that course descriptions, project information, pricing, and other content on our platform are accurate and current. However:

  • We do not warrant that course descriptions or other content are complete, accurate, or error-free
  • Technology and best practices evolve, and course content reflects information current at the time of creation
  • Pricing errors may occur and will be corrected when discovered
  • We reserve the right to update course content to reflect current practices

9.3 Educational Disclaimer

Course content is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or career advancement.

9.4 Project Development Warranty

For Flutter development projects:

  • We warrant that deliverables will substantially conform to the agreed specifications
  • Bug fixes during the warranty period (typically 30 days) are included
  • We do not warrant that software will be error-free or operate without interruption
  • Third-party integrations are subject to their respective service terms
  • Future OS/platform updates may require additional compatibility work (at additional cost)

9.5 "As Is" Service

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9.6 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flutter.LK and CeylonEdge (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.

Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flutter.LK, CeylonEdge (Pvt) Ltd, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our Services.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of our Services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Sri Lanka.
